About Pauline G

Pauline G

As a Jewellery Artist, Pauline succeeds in combining style, imagination and creativity within her work. This is achieved through the use of striking colour and inventive design in each of her pieces and gives Pauline her signature look. Pauline is inspired by nature and the world around her. More often than not, it is the materials or the stone that can become inspiring and draws her back for a second look.

Born and raised in Birmingham, Pauline's interest in colour and design began at the young age of 12 when she found herself mixing and matching clothes and accessories to create flamboyant outfits and came to be known for her great sense of style this was developed later on in life when she trained to become a Personal Fashion Stylist at the London College of Fashion. Whilst doing so she attended a Fashion Design and Craft Course at Josiah Mason College in Birmingham which included Jewellery Making this is where she learned the fundamentals of jewellery making and began developing her signature style. Pauline focussed on making statement pieces incorporating semi-precious stones metal beads and wire. These were the beginnings of the distinguishing style that can now be found throughout her collection.

In December 2010, Pauline completed a PTLL's teaching qualification and expanded her business to incorporate the delivery of Jewellery Making Workshops and Courses on an outreach basis within Local Authority settings, Organisations, private businesses and people's homes.

Pauline sells her own pieces through Craft Fairs, Jewellery Parties, a range of gift shops in Birmingham and via her own website at www.jewellerybypaulineg.com and continues to bring her special touch to the creation of memorable jewellery.
